Frequently Asked Questions

• Do I really pay nothing up front?

  Yes. We build your homepage first and send you a real link to it, within 48 hours. If you like it we carry on and the first payment happens then. If you don’t like it, you owe us nothing. There is no deposit and nothing to sign before that point.

• Which package do most people take?

  Grow. A one-page site makes a great first impression but is hard to rank on Google, so a page per service is usually the difference between a site that looks well and a site that makes the phone ring. Launch suits a sole trader who wants a professional presence quickly. Dominate is for when you cover a lot of towns and want to be the one that gets found in all of them.

• Do I have to take a care plan?

  The care plan is the hosting, so a live site needs one. It covers the hosting itself, the SSL, weekly backups, security updates and small content edits. It starts the day the site goes live. There is no contract and you can stop any time, and because you own the code you can take the site elsewhere if you would rather host it yourself.

• Is there VAT on top?

  No. What is listed is what you pay. Invoicing runs through our company outside the EU, so no VAT is charged on top. If you are VAT-registered and want the exact position for your own return, your accountant will want to know it came from outside the EU.

• What if I need more pages later?

  Extra pages are €125 each at any time, designed to match what is already there. Plenty of people start with Grow and add a service page when they take on a new line of work.

• How many changes do I get?

  Two full rounds of design feedback on Launch and Grow, three on Dominate. In practice most of the changing happens on the free preview before anybody has paid anything. If you want another round after that it is €97.

• How long does it take?

  The free homepage preview lands inside 48 hours. After that, Launch is usually a week, Grow two to three, and Dominate three to four. The one thing that slows it down is waiting on photos and details from your end, so we will chase you for those early.

• What if I do not have a domain name yet?

  We will buy one for you and set it up as part of the build, so there is nothing for you to sort out. It is yours, not ours. If you ever decide to go elsewhere we will transfer it into your own account free of charge, with no exit fee and no argument about it.

• What if I already have a website?

  Moving the domain and the hosting across is free and takes about ten minutes. If you want the content from the old site brought over as well, with redirects so you do not lose what Google already knows about you, that is €197.
